ZERDA GT12 1:12 body shell

 

With the Zerda GT12 body shell, ZooRacing finally enters the very popular GT12 1:12 racing class. This GT body shell received a stylish high performance design to reach a new level of handling and downforce in this amazing racing class.

Ultra downforce and efficient airflow allow ultra-sharp cornering and direction changes. At the same time the rear is planted on the track. This creates an easy to drive and super fluent handling on all types of tracks.

​

 To create this all new body, ZooRacing re-developed all areas from the front to the rear. Starting with a large front splitter, narrow and aerodynamic efficient front wheelhouses, followed by the advanced super low cab design and the large and efficient rear wing. For a super fast and stable cornering and high speeds, the body is very low and aerodynamic efficient. Especially in stock racing, where low drag is the key for success.

The whole surface of the Zerda is smooth and without any sharp corners, what could create unwanted turbulences. This keeps the body very efficient and stable in any racing situation.The rear wing has 2 different cutting lines for long/short chort and low/high cutting – depending your local racing rules, or setup reasons for high, or low downforce.

With all the aerodynamics, ZooRacing was also able to shape the Zerda with a modern timeless and cool design language for this racing class. Last but not least the Zerda has the ZooRacing signature wheel cutting lines and also lines for body mount holes to make body mounting a breeze. The Zerda comes window masks and with a very detailed decal sheet with window frames and tinted windows, what creates a realistic look and reduces paint work.
